I am working on a 2.5D remake of a game I really enjoyed on my old CPC: Bombjack,
Today the game looks like this:
I wanted to use this month's game to learn how to create and use 3d sprites and animations.
Learning how to create and animate things using Blender took a little bit of time but wasn't really complicated.
Finding a good export format and using the result with Away3D required more tests and fixes.
Now everything works fine.
The TODO list:
- bonuses
- one more enemy kind
- levels (at least 4)
- increasing difficulty
- highscore table
- some UV textures to make things looks nicer
- sound fx
- particles
- a jetpack on the back of the cat
- transition screens
- more fun
Too long a list for one remaining day… Nevermind, I'll try to finish Bombcat in May.
